i let a buddy of mine ride my bike today who owns his own 50 but never riden one with a bb so he gets on it and loops it on his first try brake lever puts a nice hole in the engine cover i think i remember guys saying they have used jb weld for this is that a good fix or is it better to replace the cover?

maybe you got a new 50 i didnt know about that reverses the shifter and the brake

 

scott. the clutch is on the same side as the rear brake lever.

this is coming from the same kid that couldnt figure out how to loosen his fast50s clamp.
