extended throttle cable and cap
Re: extended throttle cable and cap
I didnt need to buy one I just routed the cable a different way. Instead of it comming out on the left side in behind the number plate over to the throttle, route it right along the right side straight up to the throttle. Running it that way made it almost too long and it didnt get kinked at full rotation of the bars.

Re: extended throttle cable and cap
I bought mine here:
http://www.faster-minis.com/cable-th...xr50-xr70.html
Its a Fast50's cable and it comes with the billet carb cap for $24 not too bad, in all honesty it was about the cheapest I could find. The shitty thing is your gonna pay $5 or $6 for shipping so its gonna run ya about $30..
Quality wise its pretty decent. 2" longer, its setup with the bend in the connector at the throttle like the stock cable has. (metal housing at the throttle end that curves and screws into the throttle housing)
The carb cap doesnt have any screw adjuster on it like some do for cable slack. and the cable is kept in place on the carb cap with a little rubber sleave. But your also paying for either the cable or the cap + $4 for the other since most places want $18 for the cable or $20 for the carb cap so it was a pretty good value in my opinion.
I bought this and a sano + 4" front brake cable and with shipping the whole deal cost me $50 and some change i think it was $50.32 or something like that..
worth a look anyway.
