My buddy bought a bike that had a noise coming from the left side. We found it to be when somebody changed the oil, they opened up the cam chain adjuster and the spring must have fallen into the oil pan. We put a new cam chain adjuster spring into the bottom and it works fine now.

Thanks everyone, It still has its noises but it seems to be runnin alright, Like Hurricane said I'm not gonna worry about it till it blows up, then i'll just throw a BBK in it ! I'm gonna check out all the other ideas you guys posted and see what i find. thanks again.

sounds like the powerband is about to snap
fab can hook you up with t-3 powerband all faux titanium core
probably stop tickin then

Just remember, whey you think your fiddy is about to blow up, it is still going to run for another two years. You will probably never find the noise.
