you only went down one notch? hmm. i went down to the very bottom. I have only a VERY sight bog @ very low rpm - but i can feel more power. Im gonna try it up one more to see if i can get the bog out of it. I think i am getting a touch to much fuel. Cause overall it runs pretty good, revs good. So time to see how it runs like that. and if not, i'll drop it to the bottom again. its easy enough. :YEAH

yea, i only went down 1 cause i went up 2 sizes in the main jet. and actually i put it back to stock tonight cause i was gettin toooo much gas. Main jets are the way to go if you want good power gains, messing with the needle is kinda the billy-bob way...

I did the mods UNI can cut and adjusted the idle etc. but it seems as though I"ve lost some top end!? It may be me but I'm pretty sure. any thoughts I have to adjust the slide position to the 3rd notch yet maybe that's it but we'll see who knows. Any idea's on what it may be???

maybe try moving the needle up (drop a few notches w/ the "C" clip) sometimes, running out of fuel in high rpms will cause loss of power up top, or it falling on its face. Try a few different settings, see what works best w/ ur altitude.

Honda dealer might have them in stock. They had to order mine. Only cost a few bucks.

Exclamation FUSTRATED

Ive done the mod, cut the spark arrestor, raised the needle, put the pod filter and adjusted the air fuel mixture, but it feels like im losing power somewhere. The bike dies out if I let it idle. Could it be that I am getting to much fuel? How do I fix that? Its gettin frikin fustrating.

i actually just had my main jet brought up to a #60. The uni pod filter puts SO much air into the motor. Mine was bogging down low rpm's & didn't really wanna idle. Ive got the jets now & changed my needle & air mixture screw - so ive got alot more fuel for the increase in the air - but now the stock exhaust doesn't flow enough. figures.

so exhaust time.

Porting

Have you tried to port and polish your exhaust side. May save you the $200 for a new exhaust.

thats what I thought, but after adding a pro circuit pipe I didn't notice much difference.. i figure maybe I had to drop the needle to let it run better..

Sounds like you're about right. There is no one setting that will work everywhere. Just mess around with it till you get it right.
