Stock springs with +1 fork legs

Well I have applied front springs that I haven't put in yet, I hear that they suck from reading around on other sites and what not.

I kinda like how my front end compresses a lot for stoppies, and so far I like how I can roll stoppies pretty far on my stock front end. I just want the taller fork legs to compensate for my ishock.

I read that I could use my stock springs with the +1's, but if I change to new bushings, will it be stiffer??

I just don't want to install the applied springs if its gonna crappy.

Should I install the applied, or get diff springs, or use stock?

Re: Stock springs with +1 fork legs

I've had no problems with my Appiled Racing springs up front. I've had them for about five months, I mainly stunt it but will jump it every once in a while. Unless your going to get into some serious jumping, I don't think you can beat the Applied Racing springs for the price! You definately should get some different bushings though if you are going to do anything with your front end, you will love stoppies even more without the slop in your front end. Try and find some Delrin bushings for the front forks, you will be happy you did

Re: Stock springs with +1 fork legs

i put my aftermarket springs in with the new bushings and +1.
I realized that i didn't put the o-ring in. i rode all day without it in there.
will that damage my forks if i don't put the o-ring back in?
