brake lever already!!!!!
brake lever already!!!!!
ok. so yesterday i got my Applied bar kit and i put it on lastnight when i got home from work. it was around 11pm when i finished so i couldn't really "try" it out without the neighbors complaining. so this morning while my car was warming up i pulled it out to check how it feels. well i was doing circle wheelies (trying as i'm pretty new to them) and i crashed. less then 5 min on the bike and i broke the brake lever. damn!!! so would i get a replacement at a M/C shop or a BMX shop? i'm going on my lunch break today so i'll only be able to hit one of the two due to time.
btw, i like the feel of the Applied bar kit much better then i do the BBR, but that's just my preference.

Re: brake lever already!!!!!
If you want a short lever go to the bmx shop, if you want a long one go to the mx shop. And next time, keep the lever loose on the bar so when you fall, it twists instead of breaks.
Re: brake lever already!!!!!
applied brake levers suck everyone i know who has had one breakes it on the first crash. Has anyone else has this proublem with the appied levers? i think maybe their should be a sticky about crapy parts like this so people dont waste theor money
Re: brake lever already!!!!!
can you go to just any BMX shop and get the lever? or do you have to buy the clamp also? plus, are the BMX levers compatible with the brake cable? the little cylinder thing that's at the end of the cable little a little to large for a BMX lever.
