I need some parts and have been shopping around

I need for a 1997 Yamaha yzf1000r

Front right fork seal
56 tooth rear sprocket

I was quoted 5.92 for a fork seal and 50-60 for the sprocket.

he said a -1 front(18) and +10 rear(56) would be about $75 and a relatively good chain ( that will break if you are stunting the bike /shawn) for $80. Also toying with the idea of a full D&D or Vance and Hines exhaust... I still need to figure something out for a cage.

The knee pads I bought at Blocker's for $16.00. They are just plain dirt bike knee pads that I was wearing under my pants.

As far a full exhaust goes ... if you plan on stunting that bike I would steer clear of the D&D. I myself love the D&D but it way too loud when you are trying to be inconspicuous. Remember Forks? BLAAAAAAH BLAAAAAAAH! LOL

I was at Daren's today, Machines of Mayhem, and he is selling a +6 sprocket for a 600RR for 46.99. How much more could a +10 be?

Haha, freakin Tim at forks... tim

Ill get some knee pads then, didnt know they were just dirt bike knee pads.. Are the actual "riding pants" any more beneficial than throwing on a pair of pads?

Ill probably go with the guys at tricktape for the sprocket and chain set up.. they seem to be hooking me up pretty good, i talked to them again today

I wear a pair of Joe Rocket Ballstic pants. They were around $60.00 and they have removable knee and hip pads so you can wash the pants. I've gone down int hem plenty of times and they work great. But nothing works better than actual leather pants and a leather jacket. But I have no complaints about my Joe Rocket pants. The only reason I wore other pants with the knee pads over the summer was because I wore holes in the knees on my Joe Rocket pants from the sanding pads on my tank. I'm going to take them off.

I hope this helps.
