BikerBoyz Stats..MUST READ
BikerBoyz Stats..MUST READ
....as much as most of you guys hated the movie..I thought I would share this very important information..which will make you think twice..
BikerBoyz came in third in the top movies that debuted over the weekend. It pulled in 10.1 million dollars.
1. "The Recruit," $16.5 million.
2. "Final Destination 2," $16.2 million.
3. "Biker Boyz," $10.1 million.
***** here is the more interesting part...check this out:
$6,944 average in 2,376 cinemas for "The Recruit,"
$5,716 in 2,834 theaters for "Final Destination 2,"
$5,719 in 1,766 locations for "Biker Boyz."
bikerboyz pulled under $1000 compared to the number one movie which is the Recruit. Look at the theater numbers, as bikerboyz had the least, yet it held STRONG.
as bad as some of you thought it was, your opinions were based on involvement in the stunt market, but for hollywood, it seem to pay off considering the movie was LOW BUDGET.
thats damn good if you ask me, to have that many people go see the bikerboyz..shows a very large and vast interest in motorcycles..
I dont really think that 10.1 million is strong in general, as something considered a hit or would have pulled in an average of 20 to 30+ million for his first weekend.
interesting to find out how it will feather out for the next weekends...could be a late starter, or will fad out..
but again, with such a low count of theaters playing the movie, it held strong in 3rd place...

regardless of good stats(good for hollywood)
The only reason for the great turnout was due to Stunnas such as all of us thinking that it would be more related. Or even from people who have seen us ride and dont know where to find a real stunna movie

Lets not forget that no matter how bad the movie was, a mainstream movie used actual stunt riders like JT Holt and Jon Jon instead of hollywood stuntmen. That says something for progress of our sport. Dontcha think? Stay positive and it just might happen
The movie itself was pretty good, but......
How in the hell are going drag race a busa and a zx 12 on a gravel road it would never work, 2. Stopping on a gravel road from a 150mph, 3. in the beginning of the movie those 2 dudes are drag racing and the star of the movie jumps to the tank at 140mph per hour or so but the last time I checked you would fly off the back of the bike if yopu tried that. THose were the only things that were funny to me but the movie and the stunts were real good and at least they made the stunts look real
