A fellow racer, mechanic & good personal friend, Shane Myers could use your help. Shane is a 36 year old father of two who was diagnosed last November with chronic Myeloid Leukemia. Because of a program called "Shop and Share", sponsored by Jewel-Osco, Nine shopping dates have been set aside to benefit the Shane Myers Medical Fund. The program we are asking you to take part in only requires that you shop at Jewel-Osco on the specified dates and turn in the REQUIRED FORM to the check-out clerk. 5% of your grocery purchase will be added to the Shane Myers Medical Fund.

The dates that are set aside for this fund are: October 4th, 5th, 6th - October 11th, 12th, 13th - November 8th, 9th, 10th.

Shane's insurance is helping, but his personal costs are enormous. He is on medication that costs more than many people make in a year. He may be undergoing a bone marrow transplant soon which will put him out of work for about a year.

Jewel-Osco stores are in Illinois, Iowa, Indiana and Wisconsin.
