He said that he dumped 3 bikes trying to stunt 'em, and now he just races. What's everyone's thoughts on this? You think this will last longer than M.J.'s baseball career did? Ha, funny seeing big *** 6'6'' M.J. on a rocket!!! Post up!!!!!!!!!
By the way, my
is that M.J. is the **** at everything else, so he's probably gonna be pimpin that rocket soon!!!

It will last like his baseball career, golf career, his last two seasons with the wizards etc... just a mid-life I am not in the spotlight phase again.
Re: What does everyone think of the Michael Jordan Racing Team?
He has some other dude ride for him, he isn't the racer. Or at least that's what the Sport mag. I read said, might be different now.
Whichever...I think it's a joke, and Jordan needs to move out of the spotlight before he get's a tan. He's a publicity *****.
"Ooooo, my dad died, I'm so sad. Can't play ball anymore, retiring my number, no one can ever have 23 in the Bulls again, Waaaaaaaaaaaa....Ok, I'm bored, can I have my number and career back, I suck at everything else."
The guy makes me laugh.

Here's some info I found:
AMA SB: Michael Jordan's Team

by Dorina Clarke
The original posting regarding Michael Jordan's team had information in it that came directly from a source on the team.
However, team rider Montez Stewart held a press conference yesterday to clear up any inaccuracies that were previously given to the media.
Following is a press release regarding the team and Michael Jordan's affiliation, courtesy of AMA Pro Racing.
Team 23 Racing representatives today confirmed companies affiliated with NBA legend Michael Jordan will sponsor Montez Stewart in this year's AMA Repsol Superstock and Pro Honda Oils Supersport classes.
The effort is owned by Edward Scott LLC with primary sponsorship from Brand Jordan, a subsidiary of Nike managed in coordination with the five-time NBA MVP Jordan. The 31-year-old Stewart will ride the #123 Yamaha R1 in Repsol Superstock and the #123 Yamaha R6 in Pro Honda Oils Supersport.
"We're thrilled to see a company affiliated with basketball legend Michael Jordan sponsor a team in the AMA Chevrolet Superbike Championship," AMA Pro Racing Vice President, Director of Communications Kerry Graeber said.
"One of our primary business objectives is to provide an avenue for companies like Brand Jordan to reach new markets through sponsorship in our series. This is a perfect manifestation of that vision."
"It's a blessing to have Brand Jordan and the rest of my sponsors behind me," team pilot Stewart said. "I really don't think I would have the opportunity to race in the AMA otherwise."
Team officials said Jordan's willingness to support his friend Stewart and his interest in motorcycle racing opened the door to the basketball icon's corporate partners.
Additionally, team officials said Brand Jordan saw the sponsorship as an opportunity to support Jordan and his new recreational endeavors, particularly in developing products for official Team 23 Racing use.
"My goals of course include winning, but its tough racing against some of the fastest guys in the world," Stewart said.
Additional Team 23 Racing sponsors include Gatorade, Alpinestars, Parts Unlimited, Gemini Technology Systems, Dunlop, PJ1, and Ferodo Brakes.

with the tri-oval Yosh's. and for the Jordan haters out there, you might be able to hate on his personality with some merit, but who else can be the best b-ball player in the world EVER, also be good enough to play minor league baseball, and be a better golfer than most people will ever be?
NO ONE. :YEAH

If you haven't seen his large collection of bikes, you should see what he has. I'll see if I still have a pic of his garage somewhere on my computer.
Also if Nike starts producing some Team 23 stuff, and anyone wants anything just let me know. I work for Nike, so I'll get everything at a discount(40-50%) off. I know I'll pick up some stuff as soon as it is released.

BUT! As a point, I don't hate or dislike the guy...don't even know him. I'm glad he's sponsering his bud and all. I just think he shouldn't be pointed out when he's standing with a crowd now that's superior to his team in experience, hard work, and dedication. He has a few years to put in...or at least one year of completely sweeping through the races, before he should be ogled at for this. He needs to pay his Sportbike dues before he's touted in this sport.
EDIT:: and yes...those paintjobs are beutiful. The tribal symbols on the bike and the riders gear all have hidden immages in them, for example the rider's lid has Jordans face on the left side. I'd like that paint in blk/yllw for my Gixxer, hehe.
Re: What does everyone think of the Michael Jordan Racing Team?
yeah i think its cool. he has had that montez stewart riding for him this year. and he hasnt dont much of anything. but i do think its cool and if you ever get a chance to see the bikes close up you should the paint job is nuts.
