01 929 headlight problem

Hi, im having problems with my headlights. they dont work
I checked the fuse, i check the bolts so i decided to "hook up" (macgyver style) an old relay from an old bike and the lights went on. So i decided to buy a new relay. put it on .... but nothing. my next guess is that it comes from one of the switches on the handle bars but i need a second opinion.

Btw, the high beam light on the dashboard dosnt go on weither i activate them or not.

thanks.
