Does anyone know how you would re-wire the pin settings on a 98'cbr900 harness to accept the cbr 929rr guage cluster. I know that some of the features wont work. And it has been done before. Please help Thanks

 

Does it have the 929 engine in it?? If it does, just use the 929 harness and the 929 gauges. If you need a set, I have one for a 929 along with the 929 harness.

 

the wire colors are the same for the same features on both bikes. Look off a 929 wiring harness to check the colors and then look at your 900rr and see where they plug in. also, you probably will need a multimeter to check stuff but just looking off both harnesses should work. i know the wire colors didn't change, like green for tach wire, etc....

 

I have the 98' 900rr motor, and harness. Some of the wire colors are different, as well as some of the 900rr wires do not appear on the 929 harness
if you have a harness would you mind displaying the wire positions from your harness. Then I might be able to figure it out.
