What is the widest tire I can go with on my 04 gixxer 1k?

i'd say up one size, if 190 is stock?, i'd say 200/ 50 zr17. i saw in a magazine they make a 250 rear conversion with new swing arm, sproket ,rim check it out

you are aware that the wider the rear tire, the worse the bike will handle (turn in) right?

thanx for the replies..the reason I asked is because I was thinking of getting a different brand tire and was just curious about the width.
