I was looking to get one of those this summer, I was wondering how you guys think they are. They look kind of stund and crunchy, but sporty....give me your opinion

 

I was getting ready to do a thread on that? I wonder if there good for stunting. Something good is there is really no plastic on it to break.

 

No idea, you could be the first one to let us know about them though. They're honda's though, so they got the realiability thing going. Never heard anything good/bad about them. Could be a sleeper no one has expected.

the 599 has an F3 engine... so its carbed.. just a heads up

theyre great engines though..

 

the 919 looks good from the back, I like the two pipes along the back

 

im not sure but i think over in europe their using something similar
so if thats true i think they would be hot bikes

the 919 looks like a solid stunt bike.

 

i'm not sure but i think u r talking about hornets 600+900.Great bikes but both have less horsepower than the f3 and the 900rr but more midrange torque.I've ridden em both 3 weeks ago ,the 919 is a good naked bike and wheelies great but i can't say the same about the 599(i don't like 600's generally).In europe are also 2 editions with half fairing.
But if u want my opinion go for the kawasaki z1000 or z750.

 

they both use older proven motors with heavier flywheels for better all around performance. the only real down sides i see to both of them is the single backbone frame (not twin-spar like all the other sportbikes) and the frame and subframe are all one piece. and then there is the parts availability issue, you're not gonna go on ebay and find 10+ pages of cheap used goods.

 

they are detuned a little from the original motor's donor but a little sprocket work they should make a great stunt bike. not sure if you could interchange parts and don't know if the brakes are any good
