went to the drag strip today for opening day test&tune and had a blast. first run i was nervous and ran against my buddies f3, he cut a .506 light and with his -1 +3 gearing he got me off the line but i reeled him in with my 11.9@123mph. second run was against a vrod. i WALKED him with an 11.3@127mph to his 13.7. 3rd run was my best. i lined up against a busa and got him off the line, but his top end reeled me in. he ran a 10.7@134mph to my 11.11@131mph. all in all it was ****in awesome, i have pics and video that i can post up if someone can host the vids.

****, I just went to the drag strip Fri, first launch, not expecting so much traction, launched the front wheel sky high! Crowd went nuts, standing ovation. Anyways, here's my best time (out of 4 runs, 1/8th of a mile) a .206 Reaction and an 8.099 1/8th e.t at 90. Can anyone tell me what that is in 1/4 mile time considering we don't have a 1/4 mile drag strip?

 

just curious, what did that f3 run? any mods besides the gears?

 

and yes this was on my 954rr, not 900rr.

speaking of wheelies, a fellow 954 rider at track wound out first, shifted to second and rode a sitdown the rest of the way. had to be at lleast 3/4 of the track.......very nice.

the f3 was running low 12's if i recall. he's a buddy of mine, and i know hes -1 +3, piped and im not sure what else. oh yeh he has an f2 motor in an f3 bike. the first run when i ran him he ran a 12.4@112mph. not sure about his other two, but i think his lowest was 12.2.
