G-Tech / Pro

Anyone ever try a G-Tech Pro on their bike?
(That device that measures horse power, 1/4 mile times, and 0-60 times...)
Did / does it work?

I'm sure it would work. You would have to cut off the cigarette lighter attachment and wire it up to a power source.

Its not supposed to work on 'fast' cars and bikes . Or so i've read. They say that due to the extreme accelerations and g-forces a sportbike can create, it is not accurate Still seems like a cool toy though.

Re: G-Tech / Pro

We've used them for years in cars. The mph in the 1/4 mi and 1/8 mi are usually pretty close to what you'd see at the dragstrip. The times though are always scewed because the unit starts timing things right when your vehicle starts moving. When your at a dragstrip your not actually timed until you trip the timing lights after your vehicle starts moving. Still though they are fun to play around with and give you ballpark figures.
