I have a 1990 GSXR 750, and i have a old, crappy V&H pipe on it...my buddy from my bike shop said that I could really put any pipe i want on there, because all they really would need to do was weld it on there.

My question is..is that true, or do i need a pipe (slip-on) made for my year exactly, or can I really put any size on there i want, like say a 2002 GSXR 750 exhaust?

Cut it Weld it Stab it Poke it prod it !!!! If you have a hacksaw and a welder you can put anything on it you want! Just try to use the same or closer Diameter main pipe it will make life easier on ya!!
