Re: plz help me with 1st bike choices

For a starter bike, from personal experience, i'd have to say the FZR600 is a great bike, good all around power, smooth handeling, looks aren't everything, right? i owned a 1996 and it definately was worth the 2g's.

On the other hand if your moving up to street I say the f3 or old gixxer is a nice bike to ride.Honda's hold there value and are all aroudn good bikes imo.
I Second that! Start in the dirt. My first street bike was a 90 Katana 1 down and four up (heavy as a bitch, but got the job done.)couldn't stunt on it but learn street savy, etc. my first bike I learn to stunt on was a 98 CBR6 1down and 4 up. and then , 68 teeth (Dinner Plate) and on to a 929.So just practice,... and Welcome

Re: plz help me with 1st bike choices

WELL I THINK THE BEST ONE IS GSX-R 600.... HIS BRAKES R SIMPLY PERFECT, A FEW MONTHS AT 34 HORSEPOWER, AND NO PROBLEM TO BEGIN STUNNIN' LIKE CRAZY DAN!!!

BUT IF I WILL HAVE TO CHOICE ONE OF THE LIST, I THINK THE MOST FUNCTIONALLITY AND EASY TO RIDE IS GS500..... BUT NO CBRF4i PLIZ!!!! REALLY NASTY AND UGLY BIKE!! MAYBE THE RR, BUT IT'S SO RADICAL TO BEGIN...

HONDA all the way. they look good, they run awesome, you can beat the sh*t out of them, and they still run perfect. go with honda, and just work your way up to a bigger one. you won't ever regret goin honda if you decide that way. HONDA...HONDA...HONDA :YEAH

gixxer 600 is a great bike!!stunt,or just ride, you don`t need big cc`s for your first bike,i`ve had a 01 busa,02 gixxer 600,96 gixxer 750, 95 900 rr,gsxe600, you have to find the one that you feel good on,then take it from there!!good luck!!!!

Re: plz help me with 1st bike choices

to true man, you'll find guys that only want to ride fiddy's, or just street fighters. it IS all about what you feel comfortable on. i rode a 700 then a 600 and then my 929. i was happy with the 929 not just because of the power but its comfotable for me since im tall.

Re: plz help me with 1st bike choices

Hey, My first is what I have now. Been riding that for awhile but its in my opinion the best bike out there. CBR600! Now I have an older one in the vintage of 95. But that aside, one fine upgrade was 98 skin. Anywho, I am in the market to sell mine if you are in the market to buy! Its got 7,300 miles on the odo and some mighty fine upgrades like 2 brothers exhaust, K&N filter +++ others. I am looking to get about $3,500 out of it and I am in NC...FT. Bragg. Let me know if you are interested!

1)honda cbr600
2)yamaha fzr600
3)suzuki bandit 400 or 600
4)suzuki gs500

anyways let me know ur thoughts and opinions on these choices. thanks for the help guys
man i just bought a 04600rr and before i had that i had a 01gsxr 1000 the honda is the best six hundred bike out and besides that anything under a six hundred is going to be hard to learn how to do stunts when u get to that. i highly recommed a 600rr they are great bikes.
