I am getting ready to put the all the plastics and tank back on the bike, however it would be sweet to look at a diagram to make sure I put all the bolts in the right spots as well as the vacumm hoses. Is there somewhere that I can download a manual or some sort of reference guides for this bike?

 

here's a link to the parts fische. its not the greatest help in the world. but its all i know of for free on the 'net. my only other suggestion would be to try and pick up a service manual off ebay or hondamotorcycles.com.

 

That's were i go **** i was just there 15 min ago and got all the stuff for the clutch lever. It shows were they go and the part #'s and they are cheaper than any factory place. when u see a part u need go to the top and it will say enter part# for price or something like that and it will put the price in.
Also shipping on orders under a $100 is $7 not to bad. Ronayers.com just saved me $100 compared to factory kawasaki price, check it out and good luck later

Here is a stupid question though....How does the windscreen bolt to the upper cowl? Just making sure there was no rubber grammets of some sort that I accidently tossed away with the old broken screen.?.

BTW,
My windscreen does have some small kind of gromets under the washers.

 

There called well nuts...little rubber pieces with nuts inside them.real fun to get in the plastic windscreen..

 

Not working tonight, but I am still waiting on my forks to get done. I will be picking those up tomorrow.

Damn, I can't see how I would of tossed those rubber gromets away . Anybody have a 96'-97' that can 100% verify this for me? I don't see them on the Ron Ayers site in the diagram....shown here http://www.ronayers.com/fiche/200_03..._1995-1997.cfm .

i have a 98 rr im bout to get rid of all the plastics and ill give you that windscreen not sure if the 97 and 98 are different windscreens and i can even drop if off if we come out there for those tires from your boy lemme know
