All I have to say is Farm Bureau, No endorsement, No MRS course, First sport bike (HAYABUSA), and all they said was sure. I was 24 at the time, and I did have another bike insured with them, for only 3 months and it was a Honda GS550 vantage 1978 model, and it only cost me $1300 a year, however, within 3 months it was dropped to $850 a year. Had two clams against the bike, not at fault either time, one of them totaled the bike, and one ticket on the bike, my fault. New Busa insurance $950/year, and old bike still only $850/year. Did I mention that this is full coverage?

Re: whos your insurance provider?

I pay $26 a month through State Farm, that's with a $100 deductible. I'm 34 and have my truck and wifes car there also. We also have our Homeowners through there too.

Just a thought for you. My wife used to work for State Farm ( no we didn't get any special discounts for that ) and is still a liscenced agent. She has told me a hundred times about people saying they found they could get insurance cheaper other places. She would ask about the policy they were getting. Often times, the other places would quote high (1500 dollars) deductibles on just for example liability. The people were getting a cheaper price, but alot less coverage. My insurance covers me, my bike, anyone else I should hurt. I get money for my wife to travel if I am hospitilized away from where we live.
I guess my point is, if it's alot cheaper, find out WHY it is so much cheaper! Ask questions about the coverage and deductibles. I'd hate to see someone have an accident and then find out their policy didn't "cover" this or that. Not to mention getting sued if it isnt covered. Just a thought!

Re: whos your insurance provider?

in wisconsin bike insurance is so high it's cheaper to save that money so if you crash you just buy a new bike. pretty much you just need insurance to get the loan then cancel it

Re: whos your insurance provider?

I go through a guy that got me through progressive starting this spring and it's $60 a month liabitly with 2 driving on a suspended license, 9 speeding tickets which 6 are 20 over, not stopping at a stop sign and one accident. I don't think this is bad with my record but I don't know and am still looking for something cheaper. Ohh i'm 21 years old with no cars on that either. All State for cars and they rock. :YEAH
