Getting off light?

A few months ago, someone posted a thread about a politician from South Dakota who ran a stop sign at 70mph and killed a motorcyclist.. i just noticed an article on cnn which gave his sentence etc. 100 days in jail? it seems to me that he got off light.. 3 months in jail for ruining lives because of blatant carelessness? ...................http://www.cnn.com/2004/LAW/01/22/ja...ing/index.html

He should get what he gave. Stand him in a intersection and run the ****** over at 70 mph.

An eye for an eye.

i agree with this mentality; however, i don't think he ment to kill the rider. still, 100 days is far to leniant. shows how ****ed up our system (political and judicial) is

yeah, that son of a bitch got off with a slap on the wrist. justice was not served in this case, so maybe prison justice will right a wrong.

Re: Getting off light?

Rich-NY, you ever run for Pres., you got my vote. This dick was flying down the street being a self-important jerk off, and he killed someone. Well, he got off with less than a slap on the wrist, more like a "tisk tisk, bad boy." I even love the fact that while Kobe is being tried for rape, he gets to play in games a sh*t. We'd all be in jail. Double standards are a bitch, especially when they are so blatantly obvious.
