because some people would rather be hot in the summer, instead of cold in the winter with no skin on them.
Jeans typically dissipear in less then 5 feet of skidding on them, that means your skin is dissipearing on the next 100 feet.

I went down at 50 mph with a sweatshirt and liner/helmet/gloves/jeans...well asphalt ate my sweatshirt + the liner and then my arm....8 stitches in my leg couldnt walk for a month...now on its leather jacket + icon leg armor

i see alot of guys rockin full suits in the twisties but not many on the street. i actually saw a guy today on a bmw in black leather pants and jacket w/ a full face..... the temp today was 100 degrees, he musta been dyin.

if im gonna go out and ride hard im definatly wearing all my gear. helmet gloves jacket pants boots ect.
if im just gonna cruise i still wear my gloves and helmet but depending on how blistering hot it is here in clearwater i might leave the jacket at home.

Hold up a sec, from reading all these post's i get the impression that a helmet isn't manditory in the states is that true?
I wear a helmet, gloves, jacket and jeans when its cold
I wear a helmet,gloves, shirt and jeans when its warm
and finally i wear helmet, shorts when its really hot.

Not required in certain states, it's not federally mandated. NH does not require one.

Casual riding - Lid, boots, gloves, pants, goggles.
Real riding - Lid, neck roll, 661 pressure suit, elbow guards, knee guards, ankle guards, gloves, pants, jersey, kidney belt, goggles.
I never ride without a lid, not even to my nextdoor neighbour. Ive met one of my friends who just "went to the shop quickly" in the road, one daft c(_)nt just backed out of his yard without looking.....nasty. Its only about half a mile from his house to the shop.
Real riding - Lid, neck roll, 661 pressure suit, elbow guards, knee guards, ankle guards, gloves, pants, jersey, kidney belt, goggles.

mesh jacket from joe rocket, gloves, helmet, and boots. I have a friend who dosen't wear gloves. I told her she better get some on b4 anything happens.
