Helmet, MX gloves, leather jacket, jeans. And if I'm out tryin to stunt I put on my fox knee and shin combos. The one time I didn't wear my gear I wrecked and roadrash hurts. Thank god I was only going like 20mph.

Yeah, I've been spending quite a bit on gear over the 'off-season'. I think i'll be wearing it alot more on my rides. Now i just have to stumble onto some more money so I can get a cooler helmet than my ICON primary.

in the winter: long johns, sweater, textile jacket w/liner, icon jeans, timax gloves, helmet, timbs
in the summer: wifebeater, leather jacket unzipped w/no liner, icon jeans, tarmac gloves, helmet, sha sha's

I agree 100% there. I love the guys who are all hard core about wearing helmets, but at the same time will go with out gloves and ride in shorts and sandals. Freaken crazy bastards. For the type of riding I do I'd rather loose the helmet and keep the gloves.

Having had some decent high-speed offs, i always wear my bike kit.
Chicks do dig scars, but not mile-long skin grafts.
Helmet - Choice of four.
Dainese safety jacket, inc. full length back protector.
Textile jacket over safety jacket,
or leather jacket with back protector.
Leather gloves.
Cordura enduro trousers, Kevlar-lined jeans, or the bottom-half of my 2-pice leathers.
MX boots, road-race boots, or sometimes trainers (for slow stuff)
I used to sell clothing for a dealer, and am 5-star Arai trained. I wear through bike gear by sliding up the road in it like it's going out of fashion, and haven't yet had had a serious injury.
