o-ring chains come stock on most bikes, in most cases an o-ring chain will last longer cuz the o-rings help kept dirt, water, and sh*t out of the chain.

i run non-oring right now because it was 30$ (did)a nd i didn't know my chain length when i changed gearing. now that i know and like my gearing, i'm getting an RK x-ring chain 120 link for 80$ from www.parts411.com

not a bad deal.

also, most of the o-ring chains seem to have about 1000 more tensil strength. my standard DID chain stretches a lot.

Yep, had one last for three days. Oneday of trying to clutch ****** up and the thing snapped on me. Now I've been rocking a EK for the past 2-3 months, no problems yet(knock on wood).

my did standard non-oring has lasted all season for me, you just have to lube it. now, if you get a no-name brand chain, it'll be shitty.

Nope, had the DID non-oring. And it only lsted on me three days bro... Now I have a EK oring, only cost me like 50 bucks more than the DID standard. like 80-90 bucks total. I cant remember which model I have.
