Taking the baffles out of the stock pipe..
well, really and truely i'm just looking for more sound... I would buy a actual slip-on, if i could afford it right now, but seeing it is that i can't, i would like to make do with what i have at the moment.
Could anyone help me out and explain whats all involved in doing so? Or anyone in the around Corpus area willing to do it for me,or show me how to do it..that has done it before.... I'll spend alittle cash to have it done..
Thanks for any help...Laters

becarful cause you can really make your bike sound like ****, my buddy did it wrong and his bike sounds like a volkswagon beetle straight up. i did it a long time ago when i was a cheap *** too-but i just bought a 6 or 8" drill around 3/8 or 7/16" and drilled about 6 or 8 holes in the baffle. sounded better but definatly nothing like a good can

yuo can drill out the rivets on the can and remove some of the packing and slip the end cap back on and test it out if you dont liek the sound take some more out or put some bcak in and then rivit the cap back on

Are you guys all too young to remember the bafflectomy?
Back in the day we ALL did that to our bikes. Pour a little kerosine down the pipe, light it, BOOM! Now that bike is a tad louder. No tools required...

you don't want more sound if you are stuntin that bike. keep it quiet. unlike my yoshi, you hear that thing 3 or 4 blocks away on a quiet day.
