Check your plugs, could be fouled, just go over the basics, is there gas in it and all that bs. thats about all you can do really, unless you wanna take it to the shop but ya better have your check book ready

make sure you jumped it with something that has the same voltage as your charging system requires

hope you didn't jump it with a car battery if your plugs are dirty put a little bit of gasoline in a bowl and scrub the tips with a metal brush

then check the contacts make sure all the wires are not frayed, your bike is fi so you don't have to worry about carbs, then thirdly make sure there is gas in the tank

You can jump it with a car- 12 volts is 12 volts- older bikes were 6 volts and that was bad.

Back in the day I showed an F2 to a guy who had one more bike to go look at before he made a decision.

After he took it up the street and back I rolled it into the garage and dropped it on it's side in front of him and my roomate.

New plugs... check the gap, if you took out the old plugs and cleaned them up and the gap didn't get set right it will throw off the timing a hair, which is bad when you are trying to start it after sitting, it just refouls the plugs. Drain the gas, put in new plugs, hold the plug against the frame and make sure there is spark (that rules out plug wires.) Use new gass and be prepared to crank for a bit. Don't leave your starter on for over 30 seconds, you'll burn it up, in fact 30 seconds isn't written in stone.

Best of luck.

That was the same approach I always used also, I just don't hand that advice out much.
