Rear tire width vs. wheelies

Is there any difference using a 180 or 190 width tire on the rear? I've always ran 190's on the 929 but I've got a used 180 I may try. Does it make it less stable in a wheelie since it's skinnier?

I think that if you run normal pressure, I wider tire is better. At real low pressure, it would be detrimental to run too wide a tire. I dont really know, I'm just theorizing.

Doesnt really matter. I wheelie good on a bicycle, its just a learned skill. Think about it. Look at a tape and see how wide 10mm's are.

all R1/929/954/1k gixxer of floor comes with 190. Most hardcore street/track twistie riders change it to 180(easy to turn)

The bigger tire will make it more stable. When people let air out of there tire....more of the tire is touching the ground....that is why it is more stable.

So I guess you can say....widder is better

that is why nags is good on the z50....that big *** tire
