knockin the F4i. WTF!?!?!?

How in the F did this suddenly become what people think to be a weak bike?!?!?!? The thing was 600 of year '02 (cycleworld).

The new '04's are quicker, but by what a tenth of a second in the quarter ridden by a professional racer?!?!

Now that Honda put the single seat back on it, it's gettin even less respect. Seems that people think because it doesn't have a stepped seat now that is' slow or weak or some sh*t. That makes about as much sense as those kids who put a NOS sticker on an 82 buick and claim 400 hp.

CBO is stuntin the hell outta his, as well as others on this board. It's faster than you ever will need. It's practically bullet proof with the exception of the CCT and it looks good (i prefer the 01-03 stepped seat)

So give me one good reason this bike is not as good as a gixxer or R6!!?!? I just don't get how the F4i became the red headed step child of the 600 class.

Nothin wrong with em, but I like Suzuki... my first bike was a Honda, the tanks are not wide enough....... But If you feel comfortable on what you have then everyone else!!! You know whats good

 

I bought the 2000 F4 and was kickin' myself in the *** when they came out with the F4i the following year. Yes I would like an F4i, yes I like the double seats, yes the banana seat looks weird, and yes the F4i is a kick *** bike.

I want me a 929 though, there's some real good deals on some F4i's in Chicago, wish I had the cash.

I'm holding out for a 929...

 

you should try a 900RR might have the widest tank of any bike on the market. and i dont knock anything made by honda.ill bet a F4I double seat could be bolted up instead of the banana seat.

 

my bf had a RR I dont like em I had an F2 dont get me wrong... I loved it... but out of everything I have ridin I like the GSXR

as for riding bitch I loved the RR except the dented in tank hurt my hands.

 

ok i like honda bikes just not the f4i i have no problems with its power it just looks like a secton 8 bike to me imo

I ride a gsxr 600 and my boys stock 01 cbr f4i comes up in second easier than my gixxer... it has a really nice balance point... I like the way my gixxer comes up bettah though....

Fark em'. I'm still rockin my 10 year old fatty 600, and lovin every freakin minute of it. On one or two wheeles, don't matter.

i agree... im sick of the i get for my F4i... everyone says "blah blah how can anyone wheelie on something that weak?" .... it picks up nice in 1st and i ride em just as good as any other 600 in 1st gear, but 2nd gear is another story im workin on that tho
