Just wondering if anyone could help me out. I am looking to put a pipe on my bike over the winter but can't figure out which one I want. I really like the look of the akrapovic and the carbon Micron but one problem, you can't hear them looking at a pic. Anyone have any suggestions that they have seen in person on these? I want something pretty loud Also this sound stupid but I am looking for a colored bulb to put in the small light right below the windscreen. If anyone has any good websites could you post them for me THANKS

 

my vote goes to the "a-crop-o-VICH" (www.akrapovic-exhaust.com), it has superior sound and build quality, although it may not be what you're looking for. the akrapovic is known for being relatively 'quiet' compared to other slip-ons (sounds BEAUTIFUL) but it's one of the only pipes i'd buy. the MIG slip-on is rediculously loud, and the dual outlet opening looks a little funky. i can't say much for the micron though (haven't heard it yet). good luck.

The light below the windscreen- if you want a colored one, just take the bulb out and go to one of the import speed shops and they can match it up for you with what ever color you want.My buddie just bought a 600 rr too and the sales guy said someone makes somekind of laser light for there so if there is a cop in front of you doing radar it sends a signal back to the radar guy and makes it read zero.Im still looking into that if i find anything else on that ill pm ya or somthing.

 

Thanks guys - yeah the akrapovic definately looks sweet at a sweet price too ---- ouch 579 for the slip on. I like it because it fits in the heat sheild without having to tear it out. Has anyone seen windscreens for these? I can't seem to find them yet

 

i just got my windscreen from zero gravity today. you could also try the sportech or lockhart phillips.

As far as exhaust, I have a Jardine carbon fiber street baffle. It sounds great. Erion Racing also sounds good.
