swapping to LED taillights?
I keep busting the taillight bulbs in my 01 Gixxer 1000... Probably from setting down high stoppies? My taillight is a bit loose (some broken tabs)...
I figure the LEDs are more durable? What do I have to do hook up an LED? I don't want a full undertray or any sh*t like that...

I'm not exactly sure what they look like on the gixxers, but I helped put a taillight integrator kit on an R6. All it basically is, is a circuit board with LED's on it , that uses the existing wiring.
My 2000 gixxer keeps popping bulbs in the rear too.

i bought a 6" x 1/2" led bar from parts unlimited for my gixxer. it hooks up normal, there is a ground, constant power, and brake light wire...the thing is bright as hell, i put it on cuz i cut my tail section back when i put my 12 bar on so there are no mounting tabs for the stock tail light

Gixxers use 1157 brake lights. Go to any local parts store and buy 1157 LED's. They just plug right in like your normal bulbs. They'll be like $10/ea
