i was just reading on cbrworld.net that there is a recall on the clutch of the 01 929's. just wondering if anyone has any info. i know the clutch basket has a recall on the 00's but this one was different.

where was that listed on cbrworld.net??? i'm not a member, but my friend has a 929 i don't remember what year he has i think it is an 01 but i know he is having a problem with his clutch...any help would be good i know he purchased a new clutch but we haven't put it in yet cuz he lost his license and i just got out of the hospital for a ruptured spleen

 

The only recalls that I know of for the 929 are the clutch basket and the fuel line being to short. That's what I had done to my 929 when I had it.

i checked.

i have 14,000 miles on my 929 erion edition and i beat hte living hell out of the clutch and i haven't had a problem yet.
