Please help!!!

Ok I just got another kawi that I was going to fix up and let my girlfriend learn how to ride on... but I cant get it to start... It will turn over just fine but it wont fire off... I have cleaned carbs and jets, checked flow on gas to carbs and its got a good stream.. the spark plugs are firing good.. So i was thinking maybe they messed with the air/gas ratio... but I sprayed a little starting fluid in the engine to see if i just couldnt get it to take off and it wont even start with the starting fluid.. It just keeps turning over... It fired once but very short... What other things should I try? Or does everyone think its the stupid rings? See what happens when you try to be nice... its a 93 250

Re: Please help!!!

Any possibility the issue is timing related?

Re: Please help!!!

Could be timing for sure. Good place to start if you have fuel and spark for sure

Re: Please help!!!

you can push the spark plug gap in and that will sumtimes help if you arn't firing a high enough voltage. if not then i would say pop the top and check the timing
