damn gixxer, blown fuse

so i was out earlier today workin on 12's with a few guys from this site when my fuel fuse blew at full height, slammed the front down hard, replaced the fuse, ran fine for a min, then we left and i did a 2nd gear stand up and the ****er blew again while i was up. so we pulled over to the side and started messin with it again, well this time it just repeatedly blew fuses, so i had to push the damn thing for like 1/2 a mile before i got my brother to come pick me up. anyways i've been workin on it all night with my dmm and i can't find the problem, it's in the fuel pump circuit, anyone have any idea why it would do that? could it be the relay? damn suzuki

look down in your tank bro. my buddy had this same thing happen to him, one of the little azz screws under the cap fell off and fell in the tank and fell into the fuel level light sensor, that was it.

...when you flip the cap up, its one of those super small screws, hope this helps

I ride a 98 750. I have had all kinds of trouble with the harness. I am thinking of rewiring all the stuff this winter. I have found wires that rubbed all the insulation off and connectors that have come loose. Stunting does not help the problem . At the moment I have a hose clamp around my fuse box cause with out the pressure I get no power to the insturment cluster .

good luck , mike
