Re: Truck stuntbike fitment!??!

Yes, they will fit just fine. I would load my 636 and f4i into my 91 S10, and they wouldn't touch. The cages would be against the wheel well on each side, inside the bed.

Both with cages, the f4i had a sick cage, and the 636 a FI.

Re: Truck stuntbike fitment!??!

I took those pics like a year ago after reading a similiar thread here. I just never got the opportunity to post it up. Ha ha.

On a side note, it is nearly too much weight for the truck, since it is only a 1/2 ton. So I put air bags on it in the rear to level things out so that it isn't sittin on the bump stops all the time when loaded with two bikes. Mine is lowered tho, so if you have a stock s10, it would probably be fine without them.

Re: Truck stuntbike fitment!??!

i gotta say, 2x4's never crossed my mind. Ha ha. No thanks, but definetly some redneck engineering there!

The problem with the leaf spring helpers is they make it ride very stiff all the time.

The air bags were under $200, and easy to install. Ive put over 2000lbs of stone in the bed, and they still level the old s10 out. I just carry a small air tank with me if i know im gonna be overloading it. I never got around to installing a compressor to fill the bags.
