Re: newb question

Man you need to duck tape a broken broom handle to your gear shifter, thats how ALL the pros do it these days!!

Re: newb question

you dont, if your feeling the need to shift through gears while in a wheelie then you either cant hold bp or your doing power wheelies and trying to make sure you dont keep running red on it.
if ya bring it up proper in 3rd or 4th gear you shouldnt have to worry about shifting. also if your needing to go that fast in a wheelie then i feel your dumb for doing so anything over 70ish isnt needed. thats my

thats your problem, your trying to power wheelie it which is hella dangerous man. learn to clutch it man, thats how ya pull her up in a higher gear, and have more control over it comin up.

+1 to that, start in first gear to get the feel of it comming up. cuz with clutchin it up its going to come up faster but overall its better for the bike. likes the saying goes practice makes perfect, keep at it you'll get it

Re: newb question

bro slow down an take it one step at a time, changing gears dont mean **** its like bmx riding wether you have a 42 in the F or a 24 the wheelies are the same its up to you to find the sweet point, an if you cant clutch wheelie dude get off doing wheelies your going to end up going down

i disagree, gearing makes things easier for pulling it up and less stress on the motor. in a way yes its the same, but for the most part a geared bike is miles differnt from stock.
