spark plugs

listen i go to change the spark plugs and after i disconntect the coil connectors and go to pull the coil off the plug this whole plastic cylinder lookin peice comes out the top of the engine .... its prob about 6in long or somthin like that ... i dont kno what the **** is goin on ...

could it be the spark plug boot???? LoL. pull that outta your way carefully and use the spark plug wrench supplied in your tool kit that came with the bike. the spark plug is waaaayyy down in there.

i just called the guy from the dealership and he said the same thing ... he said its supposed to be like that .... the only thing thats throwin me off is the wrench that came wit the bike and the wrench the manual said to use is a regular open ended wrench ... the guy at the dealership told me i needed a long 18mm socket that swivels ... damn i never thought i wouldnt kno how to change a fukin spark plug

yeah u need to use an open end wrench to turn the spark plug socket that was supplied in the tool kit.

oh see .. i bought the bike used ... not all of the tools must be in the kit ... i got 1 more stupid question ... since the plug is way in there ... once its loose how do u get it out ... does it just come through the top once its completly lossened? .. thnx bro

yeah it should be stuck in the socket. most regular deep well sockets are too fat to fit into the sparkplug hole.
