what size shoe do you wear?

you can do it but there isn't much room and the hole is going to be on the smaller side of things.. i can take a picture for you tonight if you need be.

Re: hole in seat 07 zx6

it was acually my buddy that did his. he's got the same bike. it gets really thin on the sides, he wears the same size i think. i'll double check with him how he did it, but i'm pretty sure he reinforced the outline of the hole with some crap aluminum or something. to cut the hole he just marked it out and dremeled the plastic underneath. then took a razor blade to the foam. pushed the cover in and stapled it on the inside. i posted a picture somewhere on here or stuntride a while back. but the picture isn't on this computer here at work anymore... hope that helps, i'll take a couple pics tonight when i get home too so you can see the hole.

Re: hole in seat 07 zx6

i have the same bike and you may be better off buying a solo seat cowl and doing it to that since it bubbles out gives ya more space to sit your foot on, since the back seat is super thin and small

if you can get the hole big enough for your foot the seat will work just fine. i won't think a solo seat cowl would last very long with a hole cut into it..

hole in the seat works good, there a metal plate in the rear seat cut infront of that, i've had the same rear seat since i bought it and cut a hole in it the day i bought it, doesnt' matter how big your foot is, cut a hole. if its to small... make it bigger...

he just re-inforced the sides where the plastic was thin. cause when you put your foot in it the plastic part underneath bowed out and broke... heck he might have even just taped it back together...

Re: hole in seat 07 zx6

hole in seat is done. came out pretty good. just to the other side of the strap there wasnt a ton of fabric to pull down and staple very good. but i got it on there. should be good enough.

i put some grib tape around the fender and two tiny ones on the seat too! i was riding in the rain yesterday workin on circles and couldnt stay on the bike lol
