final drive

what is the best sprocket set-up to go with for a 900rr? I was thinking of going up 2 in the rear and one in the front, how effective is that ratio? Please help me out.

Thanks

...and if there is anyone else still riding out in CT, let me know!

I went 1 down and 1 up on the rear..I like it. Quite a few guys run 1 down 2 up like you want to do. 1 down 2 up makes a HUGE increase in low end. Take it easy till u get used to it..it will be easy to loop out.

Hey thanks, Maybe I will try a 1up in back 1down in front set up instead then. You think it is much less touchy than two up in back, huh? That might save me some headaches and Plastic, subframes, covers, etc.......

Id run 1 down 1 up in all my bikes untill i got used to that, you can get diffrent sprockets for diffrent stuff, all depends on what you want to do and how you feel with them

It wont be a lot more touchy going 2 up in back. The ratio doesnt change much going 1 more on the rear. Its like 1 down in the front is = to 2 1/2 up in the rear. Dont have my chart on me.
