Used Slipons

Im in the process of buying used yoshi slipons for my 2002 Tiller.
Is it ok to purchase used slipons? They been in the bike for two years.

The worst problem you'll have is that they might need to be repacked. If so, drill out the rivets, repack it with quality muffler packing that you can buy from certain slipon manufacturers, and then put the thing back together. Use high quality stainless rivets so they don't rust out.

If they're carbon and have needed to be repacked for a while, the heat that the carbon sleeve will have seen will have made it more brittle than it already is. Plus carbon hand grenades, anyway. Stick to metal.

buy the full system!!!!! you'll hate yourself for getting the slips .... BTW (unrelated) .... I have a full system for that bike virtually brand new for $550 ... chrome!!!!!!!
