go to walmart, buy paint you like, go home, take cap off paint, shake, spray towards bike, repeat till entire bike is color you like. Stay away till paint dry. Once dry, ride it.

well not tryin 2 sound like a dick but if u kno how to paint or wanna do it yourself you should be asking on how 2 do it .... painting is a pretty particular process and theres a fair amount of correct steps if you want to do it right ... id type how 2 do it 4 u but it would take a whole page ... ur better off looking it up online im sure u can find out how 2 do it sumwhere... just make sure you use gloves and make sure everything is clean

Re: anyone help on how to paint the plastic?

I agree with zookiezook... I went to school for body work, if you want a pro looking job and you dont know how to paint its best not to try, It will just be alot more work for you, (or the poor soul who has to sand off all that clear) take it to a body shop or find a painter who moonlights.
With enough practice you can make rattle can look decent tho scuff your paint up with some 320 or so (until it looks cloudy or flat). get some high build rattle can primer spray on 3 to 4 coats, hit that with 800-1000 grit just to give the paint something to stick to. then go to town with the color of choice.
Make sure you keep everything clean (wax and grease remover works well you can get it at walmart in the auto section.) and dont touch the surface to be painted on with your bare *** hands ( grease from your skin with **** it up). And if your doing this in your garage sweep the floor first and wet it down with a hose it helps keep the dirt down. and thats about it.

This is a VERY good source on how to paint. They answer questions in a FAQ format, which really helped me figure things out easier.

Re: anyone help on how to paint the plastic?

where he hell is roselle? i kould help. i have been painting mine. if you want a o.k. job then just sand it down really smooth, using like 3 different stages(rough grit to smooth) then primer grey it, then spray her down. mak sure you jsut don't overspray (don't let it run) and just spra on coats, pray dry spraydry spray dry............. and then a couple clear coats..... not real hard, if you want o.k.! good paint takes time, and not rattled, heres my rattle can'd job

ill post others later when tank and all plastics on.... koo dude. hit me back

Re: anyone help on how to paint the plastic?

sand it down, knock off all the shine with 400 grit
wipe down with acetone
spray high build primer
sand again with 1000 grit
wipe with acetone and then a tack rag, dont touch with bare skin anymore
get a single stage paint and hardener
wait till it doesnt rain for 3 days and the humidity is less than 40%
mix just enough paint to empty the gun, spray a coat
let dry and repeat with 6-7 more coats
set in sun to dry for two days
wetsand with 2000 grit sandpaper
get some 3m buffing compound and buff the bitch
only wash with low pressure for six months

as mentioned, sweep and wet the floor before spraying

single stage paints MUST be sprayed how you want them to look, if it looks dry when you spray it will look like a **** finish. you gotta spray heavy but not enough that it runs. in fact, if i remember correctly you can get an additive to make it look more wet like a base/clear paint.

Re: anyone help on how to paint the plastic?

depending on the condition of the fairings wether or not u need bondo makes a difference ... if u dont need bondo u dont even need 400 grit u can honestly get away with using a gray scuff pad, because paint or primer isn't gonna stick 2 clear so you can just hit it with a scuff pad and primer away, if for some reason u use 400 make sure you go over with something finer right after otherwise your gonna have sand scratches
