Strongest Dirt Bike Bars????
Strongest Dirt Bike Bars????
Which ones are the strongest you guys have found? I have the renthalls on mine right now, seems like they work well but considering its my first set i didn't know if there was anything stronger i should look for if i ever were to bend them. Any suggestions????? Don't call me names cause i have db bars and not convertabars cause I's Po!
Re: Strongest Dirt Bike Bars????
Renthal twin walls are really strong, fat bars are good. with both u have to have 1 1/8 risers though. The good thing with DB's are u can take a bar and bend them back if you do bend them in a crash.
Re: Strongest Dirt Bike Bars????
Get whatever is the cheapest
I ran a $26 shipped set of ebay bars "pit posse" for about 2 years of learning to stunt ride.. They never bent.. I ended up selling them to my friend for $20 for his bike!
I'd rather have 3 sets of bars then one expensive set personally

Re: Strongest Dirt Bike Bars????
That's not the best way to go though..
Racing motocross I always bent my renthal bars, I switched to Renthal TWIN WALLS and never bought another set of handlebars.
Plus idk if they still are but when renthal twin walls first came out they had a life time warranty if you ever broke or bent them u just ship them back to renthal and they ship u a new one. but They were like $300 back than I think and I think there only like $100 now days so I am guessing they prob. don't offer that any more..

But you know my luck, the $70 renthals I got on my dirt bike are bent..
But the $26 bars never bent, through 2 years of LEARNING to stunt
I'd just rather know I have say 3 sets of bars, so if something does happen, I can just replace them without dumping another $100..
Not to mention, when it coems to strength of bars, something has to give.. If it's not your bars what will it be? The triple?
edit: on a dirt bike I'd invest in more expensive bars, because IMO flipping your bike in dirt, a good set of bars probably won't bend..
But even the strongest bars in the world will taco if you fllip your bike just right a 50mph on pavement
