radar blocker

been thinking about a radar blocker, but dont know of anyone who has one. Does anybody use or have used one? and are they worth it? I have found several and the all claim they will pay your first speeding ticket if you get one.

Re: radar blocker

i remember seeing one they tested that worked on speed channel... dont remember which one it was though.

It was more of a scrambler then a blocker.

Re: radar blocker

It's a felony/heavy misdemeanor in most states if you're caught using one I believe.

Right you need a fcc license, its better just getting a good radar. because the jammer could get you locked up bro

Re: radar blocker

i though about puttin it under the tank, or up inside the fairing so it couldnt been seen, but i guess that still would stop them from finding it

Re: radar blocker

Cops here are **** faces. They check my vin #'s everytime I get stopped now, and try and cite me for stupid ****. I wouldn't put it past them checking for **** like that if word gets out a sport-bike pilot has a radar jammer.

Re: radar blocker

not that there are jammers out there...roflmao....but if I was gonna have one.....

I would probably mount the sending unit inside the air intake, pointing it outwards...... then I would rewire my kill switch as the on/off for the jammer. That way, if I get pulled over and they suspected it, I could just hit the kill switch so their stuff would stop being jammed and they would believe it to be some other vehicle that passed.....

of course, there are endless possibilities for wireless remote on/offs etc....

Re: radar blocker

i don't even know if i can go fast enough that i would worry about speeding with my gearing lol.....A cop is going to know if you are speeding whether u jam it or not so they will just write you a ticket for something else. Im sure they will find something they always do
