There may be cars out ther that can beat motorcycles but look at the prices. You invest 30,000 dollars to go as fast as my 6 thousand dollar stock bike. Tell me who's gettin screwed:splat

I've got a BMW that I've wasted many a bike on top end with, but it's slow out of the hole. But then again it does have a V12 in it damn it's fun, but I trashed the tranny, got to find another soon. That car can scare 200 pretty easy. It's a real blast to look at squids faces in the rear view as you walk off and leave them. Beware of the 750 BMW's on the open road.

I used to ride a Suzuki Bandit and i had a Viper beat me but with that heavy bike i can beat anything out of the hole now all i do is wheelie out of the hole which is not a bad thing.

 

I got owned by a newer porsche on the freeway in vegas... I hit 159 and couldnt go faster. I was well away from the porsche but then i saw headlights in my mirrors and the damn thing flew passed me, must have been doing like 170 or something.... i need a liter bike...

 

Hey now.. GS-T Eclipses are pretty fast... I happen to have a lot of respect for DSM's.. It more than I can say for those Hondas! And it did pretty good keeping up with the bikes to film the redline video.. Except for the police chase.

 

Did you see the video? That car is pushing WAY more than 400 hp. Its a supercharged LS1 with 15psi! I wouldnt doubt that car can beat a bike for a second.

The r1 would beat the z from a dead stop no problem, the car has 600hp and 235-40-17 street tires so it doesnt launch, when we raced I had to get up to speed and have the car in 3rd gear before I could floor it or it would just lay rubber everywhere, from like 70 on up the car is faster, and from 100 on up it's even worse, I have raced that r1 many times and would always win if we took off from a higher speed, there are lots of vids on the internet of supras beating hayabusa's on the freeway, once your going that fast HP is king and whoever has the most will always win, and whoever doubt's bring your bike to Cali along with your $$ and we will see

hey nate, your right. the DSM's should not be underestimated. I have owned 3 1st gen turbo's and they are (were) some of the best bang for the buck cars I have ever owned. Even my front wheel drive was fast. Topped out at 146mph and ran a 14.6@95 stock. Now those numbers can't beat a bike. But my brother has a 90 AWD Talon and it is built to the hilt. It smoked on my friends F4i; even on the freeway too. But I may not buy another one for a while. My brother's threw a rod pushing close to 400hp and mine 91' AWD Talon spontaneoulsy combusted into flames in my driveway. lol. This guy I know has this 90' Plymouth Laser and it's a FWD and an AUTOMATIC! the transmission is built, but it is the stock transmission. No powerglide or tricks. The thing ran a 10.34 last year at Milan Dragway here in Michigan. It looks stock except for the slicks. I would hate to meet up with that thing on the street.

 

well, like i said before, cars may have more high end speed and power, but incase no one remembers, look up an old issue of cycle world, a yzf1000 thunderace kicked the **** out of a viper on the racetrack. Especially through the twisties! This car on this vid is hella fast! But givin my obviously limited amount of car knowledge, it aint no viper. As for coming to cali with cash, I LIVE in cali lol. I know what that car would do to my little f4 on a nice long road lol. BUT....put that thing at fontana speedway with my f4 and that car may be REAL humbled. But, maybe thats just me talkin out my ***! I dont mean to be an arguemenative ********. I just dont like cars! Seems to me that here in cali, any halfwitted moron with a few bucks can get some car and make it really fast....then people like my father and my brother get killed when that dumb motherf@#$ realises that they dont know how to controll it at those speeds! Anyone who dosnt belive THAT, needs to go to a track day with there car where real drivers can show them that they dont know a fricken fraction of what they think they do!

 

well, ive been thinking about my last response to this and would like to clarify some things. The reason that I am so against the thought of a car just plain outperforming a bike is from my personal experiences. Since I live here in Cali, I see a LOT of hotroads, sleepers, and those anoying little fast and the furious cars with the fart in a coke can sounding exhausts. Now I have the utmost respect for the horsepower that a car can achieve. But, I **** you all not, I have betten them little honda crappers in strait line races on a 600, with them using their nos thingies! It takes skill to go fast. you can have a billion hp and get spanked by a damn bicycle if you dont know how to get the power to the ground properly and apply what your vehicle can do. My dad, who was a navy pilot, and my brother, who was a dumb as me lol, were both killed when some Sh!thead in a 400 and something hp monte carlo nailed them at a street light. All that hp and turbo intake stuff, dont do a damn bit of good when the light changes and your going over 100mph, with just a few seconds to stop, before the people driving across the street pull out cause its their turn! I am constantly hearing these stupid 16 year olds talkin about how they got their bmw or thier honda or the 240z turbo to like 140+ mph on a local road with children and parents and pedestrians all unaware of the danger baring down on them. I also know because I did it when I was 16, that a car can be pretty forgiving when you go to fast and wind up skidding to a panicked stop. I walked away from mine, and so have several other people around here that I know or have overheard. On the other hand, I have a pin in my left wrist, right shoulder, and right knee, that reminds me that when you get stupid on a bike, you dont just walk away. Since my wipeout, I have not gotten stupid on my bike. I just dont like the fact that there is to much hp and not enough IQ here in cali anymore. So I guess what Im trying to say is

Congratts on a non rigged, fair race! That is an awsome car! I just have a problem with seeing cars as roller-coffins. And they are way to easy to disrespect, and that is what I see a lot of these dumb kids doing anymore. I know all to well what can happen.

Was at the track on Friday night saw a 91 HONDA Civic Si HATCHBACk, same exact car that I have that was runnin with the big dogs!! LOW 12s this car appears totaly stock interior and everything never got a chance to see what he has under the hood, but the people I was with (3 of em) all own Mustangs and were VERY impressed!! The Mustang we had out there was only a second faster... BTW these are DAILY driven cars. So talk all the smack I got the Mustang parked outside today BEOTCH I respect BOTH domestic and imports and Bikes at the same time... OPEN YOUR MIND

I had a car come real close one time, it was really F***n scary cuz it was a neon. A guy pulled up to me, with the classic primer paint job, and cowl hood. but he had larger tires on the back, and the exhaust was dumpin in front of the rear wheels. It sounded like a V8 but its a neon. We went on a rollin 50, I looked back around 100 and he was right on my a$$. he didnt beat me, but i craped myself, cuz its a NEON. i didnt find out what he had, but that was wierd... NEON?!?!

I know you can get a LOT of aftermarket stuff for neons cause a friend of mine has one. But he said the neon 4 banger motor, with all the tricks will top out at like 250hp or so. Maybe that one had a tricked out v6 or something?

 

I don't know about that one. But there is a 60 grand neon that will do that or more. But my friends Skyline GT-ST does keep up like that. After a 1/4 mile he leaves me.But that is without his boost controler. With his GTR turbo on that thing, turn on the BC and he waves as he passes you.

 

Hell yeah Darius the 240 is sick, cant wait for servin it up 2
