who has built their own cage before? how much did it cost and how did you design it or did you copy someone elses design be it si fi ts or another homemade job. if anyone has pics post them up. im gettin one built and will get a price estimate tomorrow so ill decide if im going to build it or let them do it or just buy a used one

If you have the tools and know how, building your own is a MUCH better idea


If you don't have the tools and the know how, and end up having to pay someone else for the work, then you might as well just purchase one..



I know around here, I can get 'scrap steel' which is just any steel that isn't in full length sticks.. I buy it by the pound

Built my 12 bar out of a $4 piece of steel, and have enough left over for another :YEAH


Haven't built a cage yet though, but I have plans on building one soon

me and my roommate in vegas built one for my 00 ninja. i would have angled the cuts at the back more away from my shins.

if you got a welder and can do it, hell yeah! 120 wall 3/4" or 1" tubing and a few bolts!
