>> Whats Going On With My 954??? <<
So,
Its raining in Northern California, and I decided to do a couple things to my 954.
1. Installed a 900rr idle cable. Disconnected the old one.
2. Painted entire bike, including tank. (approximately 4 weeks worth of paint)
NOW, I put everything back together last night, and all the bike will do is turn over, almost as if it is not getting any fuel. All hoses have been hooked up correctly, I disconnected the fuel line from the tank (where it meets the fuel rail @ the injectors) and when I turn on the key, fuel squirts out for a sec.
What the hell is going on? I cant start my bike.
Thanks.

yep, the stock idle cable adjusts the by pass valves that controls the idle, if you have removed that, it probably has no idle.
when installing the 900rr cable , it's best to first adjust the idle to stock 1200rpm with the stock cable, and after that never touch that stock adjuster anymore. just the new one. because the balance between these adjusts the mixture also.
