SI solid pegs vs SI foldable pegs

I'm looking at getting me some better passenger pegs. I'm thinking either SI solid or SI foldable. Just curious as to which ones u guys would prefer. I drop my bike MORE than u guys do, since i dont have the experience as alot of u do. I'm really looking at NOT breaking pegs every damn time i drop it. Also looking at a lil more protection for the bike from the drops.....=-)

Re: SI solid pegs vs SI foldable pegs

Get an OMR subcage with the foldable pegs. If you crash real hard with solid pegs you might tweak your subframe IMO. OMR is the only way to go.

Re: SI solid pegs vs SI foldable pegs

I had the solid pegs on my SI subcage on the f4i and loved them - so grippy and stout ...
I am thinking about trying the foldable pegs on my new subcage for the 636 from them this time around ...

Re: SI solid pegs vs SI foldable pegs

I got my OMR subcage with my stock05 bike pedal and I love the ****. I like having a big platform for my foot rather than just the little peg.

Re: SI solid pegs vs SI foldable pegs

I rock an SI subcage with fixed pegs, and it is perfect. Everyone that sees/rides the bike loves the set up. I have put the bike through a lot, and never tweaked the subframe, so I wouldnt worry about that at all.

The peg hit a fire hydrant at around 40mph and didnt tweak or break anything.
