Re: f4i oil pickup

The little round thing turns the pickup and the big gasket thing creates a pool of oil around the pickup at all times.

Ya thats what I figured..

I just need to pull the headers, side plastics, and pan right?

Also, is this reusable on another motor?? My motor has 25k on it and no 2nd gear.. I almost feel like I shouldn't use it for this motor if I can't re-use it

exactly what I thought when I saw it.. At first I thought they forgot to send the pickup... The picture they showed was for a gsxr pickup..

Kinda gay they are the same price, yet the gixxer part looks like its worth a lot more

While that may be true.. The equivalent amount of gold to weigh what the pickup weighs probably wouldn't be worth very much at all.

Either way. I'll always run one in my f4i.

Yeah it's really easy to do. Just do what you said shouldn't take more then 30 mins. I'm actually switching mine into a diff. motor and wondering how it's going to work out myself. As for who asked where to get a pick up check out: http://www.stuntex.com/products.htm
