People lern differently, i heard that doing wheelies on a fiddy or a btcicle will help you get the feeling of balance point.

Re: Wheelie frustration

I have a 99 r6 and it's a ****** to learn on im also pretty young about to turn 17 I worked my *** off for this bike and to see me dump it from looping a wheelie I would lose it.

while im at it i've decided to build my own bike from the ground up if anyone has any advice which one would be easier to maintain or build I know that the f4i and 636 can take a beating so thats my main interest.

Re: Wheelie frustration

Practice Practice Practice Practice. Now is when you will either give up and be a power wheelie hero or take some time and ***** and pull her on back to BP. Good advice is to video yourself to see that you are a long ways fromm looping. Good luck and dont give up!!!

I rode BMX for many years, it definitely helped me learn the balance point. Also helps you just get a whole better sense of being on 2 wheels. Stupidly, I dont use the back brake on highway wheelies, I just have a very good sense of the balance point and use the throttle/engine braking to keep it right in place. I think that BMX has played a large role in my street riding.

Did you ride MX or BMX before stunting? Balance point does come easy if you have a background of riding 2 wheels.

Re: Wheelie frustration

I had no brake control, but could ride good wheelies on the high way/streets, went to the lot for 4 times a week for 3-4 weeks.. and i can roll idle, have brake control down great and working on no handers... practice bro and you will get it down.... just rode a little bmx before i started riding street...

how many wheelies do you do in a day ? start counting...or at least estimating.... try and do at least 200 a day or more... at that rate ...10 to 15 days of solid practice like that ...and you'll have BP sometimes...

come back to this thread then and verify where you're at
