Hmmmm... that looks retarded. I mean I can see how it tucks the front wheel in a little closer to the radiator but I would think that it would really screw up the geometry of the bike and make it ride like ****. Otherwise, it looks like a pretty nice GIX.

 

Also, can't really tell if it is or is not a thou. It might be a 750 or 600, but I'm not all that familiar with GIXXERS and their body styles between the 600's, 750's and 1000's.

 

why would the forks be backwards? BENT?

 

The dude selling it said:

When I purchased this bike from the motorcycle dealer, the forks were on backwards as they are now. They said it was for stunts like stoppies. It has not affected the performance or handling of the bike at all. If it sells for the buy it now price, I will have the forks put on the other way if the purchaser wishes. Otherwise it will be at the sole discretion of the buyer who wins to have them turned around.

 

ha yeah better for stoppies becuase the calipers are on the front??, some ppl

d'oh, the forks are on the wrong side, so the calipers are on the front... look closely

 

actually, the only reason it looks like that is because the fender is backwards as well. 10 mi to fix, but then you gotta swap the tire around... just loosen the triples, slide the whole front end out, and flip, slide back in. hell, i'd even bet that if someone put it in wrong, the tire is facing the wrong way too....

 

the gauge cluster says R1000 and the redline is 12.5k, so it is a 1000

 

im not buying it i just put it up here, read the post's
