Stunnin'=Lower tire pressure
Twisties=Normal tire pressure

Is there a medium that will still allow riding twisties hard without fear of getting squiggy and stunnin' without creating too much wobble from higher tire pressure?

If anyone has a magic number, please post up.

 

let me looking into my crystal ball....the number 13 shows up...wait, you mean tire pressure!

umm...i found that 15psi on my d207's seems to be perfect so that i can 12, highway wheelie, and do burnouts....but about twisties, i have no idea. i wouldn't twistie on that. i'd say at least 20psi before you get into turns, probably would want 25psi though.

 

I was running like 25lbs on my gixxer and could 12 all day and still hang with anyone in the corners

 

Same tires I have. I will give 25 a shot and go from there.

look in your manual and you'll be surprized what they say to use for pressure in stock bike. front like 30+ and rear 42
My self I run 30+ in the rear and 30 in front,but I dont do 12's
either,but it verys in every bike,most people coulnt even tell you what they have for tire pressure
experiment is the best way!

 

I run 30 psi in the front, and 35 in the rear. I have found it is the best setup for me. You have to play with the pressures.

 

Just carry a gauge with you. Every gas station has air, and it only takes a minute to fill a bike tire.

 

If ya wanna get technical..........
Stuntin requires bugger all in the rear,
As lower pressure means more contact to the ground thus providing better stabilty.
Get up in the hills though and ya gonna want more pressure to encorporate the max effect of the roll over from the tyre side contact patch.
Science lesson over..........learn to stunt with
more pressure ( better balance ) then you can pull
nice stand up one footers out of coners in front of ya mates
and fully give em da *****!
